ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one title check, two follow-up investigations, one incident of vandalism, one drug investigation, one brush fire, three accidents with property damage, two medical/illness, one animal complaint, one suspicious vehicle/person, one harassment complaint, one extra patrol, one welfare check/concern, one ordinance violation and 28 traffic stops.

* May 4 -- A resident on NE D St. reported an incident of criminal mischief/vandalism which occurred around 10:30 p.m. on May 3 when a red Grand Am drove through his yard.

* May 4 -- No injuries were reported as a result of an accident involving two vehicles around 11:51 a.m. at the intersection of NE A St. and NE 6th St. One vehicle on NE 6th St. was turning onto NE A St. but failed to see another vehicle coming, pulled into its path and struck it in the area of the driver's side door in a moderate to heavy impact. The first driver's failure to yield was listed as the cause of the accident. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
