Eva M. McIntosh

Eva M. McIntosh, 86, of Bloomfield, passed away 10:40 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born Jan. 3, 1923 in Switz City, she was the daughter of Webster D. and Luna (Bland) McIntosh.

She was a medical secretary for Dr. H.B. Turner and also worked at ASCS. She was a member of the Tulip Church of God and loved to work outdoors.

Surviving relatives include: two brothers, Wayne and Ted McIntosh both of Bloomfield and fifteen nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Weldon D. and Clyde L. McIntosh.

Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Tulip Church of God in rural Bloomfield, with Rev. Jeff Rockey officiating. Interment will be in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield and from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Tulip Church of God building fund.
