GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT JAIL LOG

* May 16 -- Jerry E. Arthur, 34, Bloomington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery in the presence of a child, released on May 17 on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on May 22. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Aaron Smith was the arresting officer.

* May 17 -- Mark D. Dodson, 34, Spencer, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a minor as a passenger, failure to stop after an accident with injury and neglect of a dependent. He was being held on $20,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Shane Smith was the arresting officer.

* May 18 -- Logan M. Peters, 18, Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and theft and was being held in lieu of $19,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Chris McDonald was the arresting officer.

* May 18 -- Jesse C. Lee, 18, Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and theft and was being held in lieu of $19,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Chris McDonald was the arresting officer.

* May 18 -- Kevin M. Ford, 19, Bedford, was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and theft and was being held in lieu of $19,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Chris McDonald was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included one incident of breaking and entering, two requests for information only, two fights, two juveniles/delinquent, one assist to the utility department after hours, one sex offense-other, one criminal mischief, one shots fired, one accident with personal injury, three accidents with property damage, two funeral escorts, four medical/illness, three alarms, three animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one harassment complaint, one possibly intoxicated driver, four thefts-other, one message delivery, one bicycle theft, one motor vehicle theft, one arrest-wanted on warrant, one assist to the fire department, one domestic dispute, two open garage doors, two ordinance violation and 14 traffic stops.

* May 17 -- A resident on NE A St. reported a green Huffy ten-speed bicycle was stolen around 12:25 a.m. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark II was the investigating officer.

* May 17 -- A resident reported a chrome Huffy bicycle with chrome spoke wheels, a Harley Davidson sticker on the front and a blue neon light attached to the bicycle and connected to a battery was stolen from the library parking lot. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark II was the investigating officer.

* May 17 -- A resident on SE K St. reported about 60 CDs worth around $900 and 80 oxycodone prescription pills and one carton of cigarettes were missing when she returned to home to her apartment around 7:30 p.m. after being gone for about six hours. She advised that the doors were unlocked and the items had been in a vehicle during the morning. LPD Officer Heath Evan Murray was the investigating officer.
