Scott Allen Lagle, 38, of Bloomfield, formerly of Indianapolis, died Monday, June 1, 2009 in an accident at his home.
He was born in Indianapolis on December 19, 1970, and was a 1989 graduate of Southport High School. During that time he received many awards; The Highest Honor in Band, The Athletic Achievement Award in Baseball, The Youth Fitness Achievement Award and The Most Improved Grades Scholarship his senior year.
Following high school, Scott attended Central Nine Vocational School and became ASE certified as a truck equipment specialist. He worked for his parents at W. Alan Lagle Construction for 7 years.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Alan Lagle.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy G. (Earl) Lagle; brothers, Jason and Bo; life partner, Crystal Riffel; four step children, Danny, Jessica, Cody and Jasmine; nephews, Randy and Alex; nieces, Kyla and Alexus. Scott had a life long bond with Clarence and Laurda Williams and also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center -- Floral Park in Indianapolis.
Visitation will be at the funeral center from 11a.m. until service time.
Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
