He was born in Flint, Mich. June 22, 1927, the son of William Harrison and Margaret Arnold Harrison.
He retired from Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis, was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sullivan, was a Merchant Marine, a member of the American Legion Post #139 in Sullivan, Past Master of the Oaktown Masonic Lodge #474, dual member of the Dugger Masonic Lodge #721, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Dugger Chapter #482 Eastern Star, and the Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma McClellan Harrison in 2000; two brothers, Lester Harrison and Evan Harrison; and one sister, Mary Eleanor Houser.
Survivors include one son, Scott Harrison (Kim) of Indianapolis; two daughters, Beth A. Wuerch (Bruce) of Fairland, Donna Lynn Harrison of Sullivan; six grandchildren, Brooke, Jerrod, Whitney, Cami, James, and Rachel; and two great-grandchildren.
A Masonic Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger followed by graveside services with Rev. Dan Sinkhorn officiating, and military services by the Sullivan, Shelburn, Hymera Legions and the Sullivan VFW Post.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday.
