DEPARTMENT JAIL LOG

* June 5 -- Richard A. Kuehn, 39, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication, released on $500 bond on June 6 and scheduled to appear in court on June 12. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* June 6 -- Darryl W. Moore, 29, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication, released on $500 bond on June 6 and scheduled to appear in court on June 12. Linton Police Officer Debbie McDonald was the arresting officer.

* June 7 -- Thomas R. Bailey, 53, Carlisle, was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication and was being held on $500 bond. Indiana State Police Trooper John Yung was the arresting officer.

* June 7 -- Stephanie A. Hayes, 23, Carlisle, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was being held on $8,000 bond. Indiana State Police Trooper John Yung was the arresting officer.

* June 7 -- Brian E. Newby, 32, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant out of another county and was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Byron Goodman was the arresting officer.

* June 8 -- Perry E. Shepard, 31, Linton, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included seven requests for information only, two assists to the utility department after hours, one vandalism, one public intoxication, one accident with personal injury, four accidents with property damage, one funeral escort, six medical/illness, one alarm, one animal complaint, two suspicious vehicles/persons, one assist to another agency, one harassment complaint, one domestic battery, one child abuse, molestation or neglect, two possibly intoxicated drivers, one reckless driver, one extra patrol, two thefts-other, one welfare check/concern, one domestic dispute, one domestic dispute-neighbor, three ordinance violations and six traffic stops.

* June 5 -- A 15-year-old resident of Linton reported a theft which occurred while they were at the Linton pool. They told an officer that their Samsung Propel cell phone with AT&T service was placed inside a shoe then the shoes were wrapped up in a tee-shirt and then placed behind a trash can at the pool. It was last seen at 2:40 p.m. The suspect is a teen from Bloomfield. LPD Officer Deb McDonald is the investigating officer.

* June 6 -- A resident on NE 9th St. reported that three bars off their vinyl fence were pulled from the frame sometime before 8 a.m. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
