Charles Leon Lambermont was born on October 2, 1929 in Greene County, and passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009 at his home with his family providing for his care following an extended illness.
Charles was the son of Louis Lambermont Jr and Dovey Marie White Lambermont. He began work at an early age and continued to work until he retired from Stran Steel in Terre Haute. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, brain "teasers" and picture puzzles. Along with his hobbies, Charles enjoyed spending time with his 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Charles's siblings included: Robert Lambermont, deceased, William "Billy Ed" Lambermont of Brazil,
Deloris "Tiny" Flater of Linton, Carol Zimmerman of Terre Haute and Max Lambermont of Jasonville.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Miller.
Together they parented eight children. Daughters and sons --in-laws include: Debi and James Barnard of Switz City and Debra and Bill Kennett of Jasonville; sons and daughters-in-law include: Davi Disney of Stenton, Texas, Rodney and Lori Lambermont, Charles and Ruth Disney, Edward and Sandy Lambermont all of Jasonville, Randy and Linda Lambermont of Brazil and Tim and Janie Disney of Terre Haute.
A private funeral service will be held at a later time. McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville assisted with arrangements.
