Jennifer Ann Peak, 34, of Paxton, went to heaven with her three loving dogs, Tiny, Bandit, and Dusty in her home early Monday morning, June 22, 2009.

She was born on May 16, 1975 in Terre Haute, to William Edward and Vicky (Rogers) Johnson.

Jennifer loved scrapbooking, cooking even making her own new recipes, cake decorating, planning outings, and parties with friends and family. She was an animal lover, and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Carlisle.

Jennifer worked as a CNA for many years at several different nursing homes and was working on completing her LPN schooling.

She is survived by her mother and father; two children, Brendan and Kaitlynn, all of Carlisle; paternal grandmother, Mary Jo Johnson of Terre Haute; grandfather, Robert McCammon of Carlisle; and a sister, Shannon Barth and her husband David of Carlisle; two aunts, Rita Petty and Deborah Brewer of Terre Haute; three uncles, Larry Rogers of Carlisle, Amos Johnson Jr. of Terre Haute, and Douglas Johnson of Marshall, IL; a nephew, Zackery Johnson of Carlisle; and many cousins.

Waiting for her in heaven are maternal grandparents, Bob and Norma Rogers, paternal grandfather Amos Johnson Sr., nephew, Adrian Johnson, two great nephews Troy Alan Rogers, and Russell "Rusty" Johnson, and an uncle Russell Johnson.

Visitation will be conducted from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home 2200 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor David Simpson officiating and vocals by Misty Seacrest.

Visitation will also be held from noon until services.

Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
