* June 24 -- Brian S. Davidson, 33, Bloomington, was arrested a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy John Fowler was the arresting officer.



The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included two requests for information only, one vandalism, one protective order violation, one incident of criminal mischief, two accidents with property damage, one lost and found, one hazardous materials disposal/wash down, three medical/illness, one alarm, two animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one harassment complaint, one attempted burglary, one theft-other, one welfare check/concern, one 911 prank or false call and one ordinance violation.

* June 24 -- Police are investigating an attempted breaking and entering at Hair Scripts on N. Main St. When someone came in to work around 8 a.m., they noticed the back door to the business was damaged and had pry marks on the outside of the door and on the door seal. The door was also bent in. LPD Lt. Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer and Chief Troy Jerrell is assisting on the case.

* June 24 -- A resident reported her blue Samsung AT&T flip phone was stolen while she was at the pool between 2:30-4 p.m. The phone was in the bottom of her bag under the bench in the shower room. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.
