She was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Kokomo, the daughter of Carl and Irene (Porter) Inman.
She worked for 35 years as a nurse's aide at Glenburn Home in Linton and was a member of the Nine Mile United Methodist Church in Linton. She loved flowers, gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include four sons, Terry Lee Daffron of Indianapolis, Bobby Daffron of Bicknell, Jimmy Dove of Bloomfield and Jack Daffron of Bedford; three daughters, Rita Sue Norton of Worthington, Debra Kay Daffron of Indianapolis and Marsha Ann Johnson of Bloomington; a sister, Wanda (Kenneth) Brown of Freelandville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Isa Inman; her husband, Donald E. Myers; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Myers; a brother, Robert Inman.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton with Pastor Harold Nolting officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
