She was born in Linton on August 23, 1921, the daughter of Wilbur and Margaret Ann (Terhune) Moss.
She was a Linton-Stockton High School graduate with 12 years of perfect attendance. She worked in early years at the Linton Public Library and retired from General Electric of Linton.
She is survived by her son, James (Karen) Dyer of Howesville, a grandson, Bradley (Laura) Dyer of Jasonville, step-grandchildren, Heather (Matt) Simon of Lafayette and Heath (Summer) Tolley of Freedom, great-grandchildren, Mary Makrista & Steven, step great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Bryce, Madison, Morgan, Aiden, and Cameren, a brother-in-law, Dan Eccles, a step-son, Jeff (Ronda) Eccles of Jasonville, and three step-daughters, Cindy (Jay) Rawley of Jasonville, Cathy (Mike) Mason of Linton, and Christy (Kenny) Kennett of Jasonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Eccles on May 8, 2007; a son, Larry Dyer; an infant daughter, Mary Lou; two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 A.M.
Committal will be at Fairview Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
