He was born in Bedford on March 4, 1949, the son of Ralph and Maxine (Bunch) Bailey.
He had worked in construction. He loved motorcycles, dancing, playing guitar and pool, putting together model cars, and doing carpentry.
He is survived by his wife whom he married on Nov. 6, 1998, Jamey L. (Brown) Bailey of Linton; his mother, Maxine Wall of Linton; two daughters, Michelle (Lee) Graves and Nikki (Jesse) Vestal, both of Linton; a son, Mike (Zondra) Bailey of Lyons; a brother, David (Thresa) Bailey of Linton, a mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janey and JT Hannah of Linton; several grandchildren; step-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church in Lyons with Pastor Gerald Devor officiating. A private burial will be held at a later time in Stafford Cemetery.
