Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist certificate program meeting set
Monday will be your last chance to learn more about the Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist certificate program which will begin at the Greene County Community Learning Center on Oct. 22.
By completing this three semester, college credit certificate program, individuals will have the documented computer skills in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook to be competitive for clerical and administrative assistant positions at growing employers including those at CRANE and WestGate.
The certificate is college credit, eligible for financial aid, and can be rolled into other associate degree programs at Ivy Tech. Those participating in the certificate program will also have first opportunity at other workshops intended to help prepare individuals for obtaining federal employment.
A Payroll Accounting certificate will start in January, and will also be discussed at the Sept. 28th meeting. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Learning Center housed at White River Valley High School in Switz City.
