The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one accident with property damage, three medical/illness, one alarm, two animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one extra patrol, one domestic dispute and three traffic stops.
* Sept. 16 -- One person, a pedestrian, was injured in an accident at 7:30 p.m. on state Road 54E. According to the accident report, a 17-year-old driver from Carlisle accidentally backed over the pedestrian's leg with the rear passenger side tire. Those involved did not immediately file a report with the police department. LPD Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
* Sept. 18 -- No injuries were reported following an accident involving two vehicles in the WalMart parking lot on State Road 54E at 6:12 p.m. Two vehicles were both backing out of opposite parking spaces and neither saw the other. Both drivers agreed it was a mutual accident and both vehicles suffered minor damages. LPD Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
