The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one follow-up investigation, two requests for information only, one assist to the utility department after hours, one vandalism, one drug investigation, one accident with property damage, two medical/illness, one animal complaint, one assist to another agency, one harassment complaint, one child abuse/molestation/neglect, three fingerprints for gun permits and four traffic stops.
* Sept. 28 -- Information for possible criminal charges was forwarded to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office regarding an 18-year-old female who was involved in an accident. The police report says she ran a pick-up truck off into a ditch, then had it pulled out. She allegedly had been drinking and was driving on a suspended license. LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes was the investigating officer, assisted by Officer Nick Yingling.
