LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one incident of refusal to leave, one trespassing, one title check, one follow-up investigation, one request for information only, one missing or runaway juvenile, one accident with property damage, four medical/illness, one welfare check/concern and one traffic stop.
* Sept. 29 -- A Jasonville woman reported a hit-and-run accident occurred on S. Main St. around 3:45 p.m. According to the police report, a semi-truck was coming around a curve and struck the rear end of woman's car on the driver's side but the truck did not stop. LPD Officer Nick Yingling was the investigating officer. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen assisted on the scene.
GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S
* Sept. 29 -- Everett A. Honchell, 35, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of a controlled substance and was being held without bond. Linton Police Cpl. Chad Crynes was the arresting officer.
