To the Editor:

We would like to thank all the people who recently participated in, sponsored, volunteered and basically made the 14th Annual "Big Mac Attack" Tournament possible.

We have been amazed each and every year with the turnout for this fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House of Indianapolis. This year we ended up with 61 three-man teams: Our biggest tournament yet.

We are grateful to everyone who gave of their time and energy for such a positive cause. We are proud to thank the following sponsors and participants who have supported the effort. They will be happy to know that the money they helped raise will be used by families of critically ill children who have a need for The House of Indianapolis.

Our deepest thanks to the following: Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home, Angell's Food Center, Randy Baker, PA, Bart Beard, Golf Pro, Brad and Julie Beard, Bender Lumber Company, Bloomfield State Bank of Linton, Richard Brown Insurance Agency, Coca Cola of Terre Haute, County Muffler of Linton, Chamber of Commerce of Linton, Dever Distribution of Terre Haute, Dr. Paul Dunkerly, Dr. Pepper, Edward Jones Investments, Terry Meek, Keith and Patricia Graves, Greene County General Hospital, Jenkins Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Key Associates of Linton, Greene County Daily World, Keystone Foods, Linton Family Pharmacy, Leigh Lumber, Linton Motors, Linton Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3087, Linton Sav-A-Lot Foods, Linton Shrine Club, Linton Sporting Goods, Main Source Financial Group, Mercury Cleaners of Linton, Monty McKim's Auction Service, Regions Bank, Southside Express of Linton, Superior Ice of Linton, Bob Walters Auto Sales of Linton, WalMart Super Store of Linton.

Individuals we would like to recognize for their help: Brook French, Tim and Linda Taylor, Cheryl Hamilton, Bryant Meng, Bart Beard, Stoney at Sav-ALot, and many friends of the tournament too numerous to mention who helped in so many ways to make it successful.

A very special thank you to Jerry Margraf who single-handedly held the tournament in Gayle's absence. A prior commitment, a baby shower, for our youngest daughter, Jerrie Lyn was held in Ohio for her first child due to arrive early in November. Both events are extremely special to us and we appreciate everything everyone did to help make both events possible.

We are proud to say that in the 14 years we have promoted this tournament we have submitted over $40,000 to Ronald McDonald House of Indianapolis thanks to the generous outpouring of our friends and business associates in Greene County and beyond. Many families from our local area have understood why efforts like this tournament are organized to help provide a place of comfort for the family members of children who need care at one of the Indianapolis hospitals.

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who has and will continue to support such a worthy effort. We thank everyone for all the generosity and kindness you have given. Thanks again to everyone!

Jerry and Gayle Margraf
