JAIL LOG

* Oct. 10 -- Seth A. Pirlot, 27, Indianapolis, was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication, released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Pierce was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 10 -- Daniel L. Sams, 28, Indianapolis, was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication, released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Pierce was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 10 -- Natasha K. Tresner, 26, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with refusal, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16. Lyons Town Marshal Ron Sparks was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 10 -- Tra R. Hibbard, 22, Sullivan, was arrested on preliminary charges of two counts of reckless homicide, one count of theft, three counts of criminal recklessness, one count of driving while suspended with a prior conviction, two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in death and three counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in serious bodily injury and according to the jail log was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Det. George Dallaire was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 10 -- Aaron W. Evans, 21, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of dealing in methamphetamine and was being held without bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan VanHorn was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 10 -- Donaciano F. Campas, 19, Terre Haute, was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of marijuana and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 11 -- Jason M. Wallace, 28, Smith Station Ala., was arrested on a warrant and was being held on $5,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Leon Dunigan was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 11 -- Richard L. Alsman, 45, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with injury, released on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16. Linton Police Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included one incident of breaking and entering, one illegal burn, one follow-up investigation, four requests for information only, one drug investigation, one school/foot patrol, two accidents with property damage, two funeral escorts, one lost and found, three medical/illness, one suspicious vehicle/person, two assists to other agencies, one domestic battery, one theft-other, one disabled/stranded vehicle, one message delivery, three domestic disputes, four ordinance violations, one battery and 14 traffic stops.

* Oct. 10 -- A man reported being battered by a female around 9:11 p.m. outside his residence on NE H St. He said he had a child in common with the woman, from Jasonville, and the child was staying with him when he started receiving text messages from the woman regarding his girlfriend staying the night. She then became upset and went to his residence. According to the police report, he met her outside, offered to get the child's things and meet her at her car with them but argument ensued. He said he was going to contact the police but the woman punched him in the face then took his phone and broke it. When police arrived, she was gone. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes is the investigating officer.

* Oct. 11 -- A resident reported the theft of tools after he went to use them to change oil in a vehicle but they were gone. He started checking everything and then noticed other items were missing. Items included a Craftsman tool box with three drawers, a window air conditioner and a chop saw.

LPD Officer Nick Yingling was the investigating officer.
