* Oct. 26 -- Justin D. Eastman, 21, Indianapolis, was arrested on a warrant and was being held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Rick Marques was the arresting officer.
* Oct. 27 -- Adam J. Lee, 20, Linton, was arrested on a warrant and was being held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Linton Police Officer Nick Yingling was the arresting officer.
LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one trespassing, one follow-up investigation, one request for information only, three school/foot patrols, one accident with property damage, two animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one harassment complaint, one fingerprint for a gun permit, two ordinance violations and four traffic stops.
* Oct. 26 -- A Linton woman reported an incident of intimidation then said she just wanted the incident documented but did not want any other action taken. She said she had received text messages from a male suspect who threatened her about owing him money. She said she didn't know what that was about. The officer was unable to locate the suspect. The police report said the officer believed there were underlying circumstances but he was unable to determine what they were. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer.
* Oct. 27 -- Adam J. Lee, 20, Linton, was arrested around 3:27 a.m. by LPD Officer Nick Yingling after the officer saw Lee walking on a sidewalk in the downtown area and knew there was a warrant out for Lee's arrest. The warrant was issued for a failure to appear in court on a preliminary charge of illegal possession, a class C misdemeanor. Lee was transported to the Greene County Jail where he was being held on $5,000 bond. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes assisted on the scene.
