Thank you American Family coaches

To the Editor:

The boys that were placed in your care for this football season certainly learned to play football and play it well, but beyond learning the game of football they were given the opportunity to learn new things about themselves, to test new waters, uncover abilities within themselves and learn about being part of a team.

The coaches of the American Family team taught by example, their understanding, encouragement, time commitment and patience were shared with each boy and in doing so each boy learned what true character is in a man.

Thank you so much for teaching them not only the game of football but perhaps more important helping them learn more about themselves and for standing up and taking the time out of your lives and there by becoming a hero in their lives.
