* Oct. 28 -- Timothy L. Lovell, 28, was arrested on a warrant, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 4. Worthington Town Marshal Dennis Conaway was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one request for information only, one incident of vandalism, one sex offense, one criminal mischief, one school/foot patrol, one accident with property damage, one funeral escort, one medical/illness, two animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, two thefts-other, one welfare check/concern, one motor vehicle theft and two traffic stops.
* Oct. 28 -- A resident on Central St. reported an incident of criminal mischief occurred overnight. Their mailbox was torn off the post and thrown into a ditch. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Oct. 28 -- A resident of Bloomfield reported a "hit and run" accident that occurred while they were shopping in WalMart between 11 a.m.-12 p.m. When the returned to their car, there was a dent on the rear hatch. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Oct. 28 -- The Fast Max convenience store reported a drive-off theft occurred around 8 a.m. when a person driving a black Chevrolet pickup truck pumped $44.21 worth of fuel then left without paying. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh was the investigating officer.
