He was born Nov. 27, 1962 in Greene County, the son of Robert W. Edmondson and Betty Z. (Billingsly) Edmondson.
Robert was a graduate of Worthington High School, a member of Jasonville First Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Army from 1987-1991. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He enjoyed his dogs and being in the outdoors.
Survivors includes his wife, Julie Edmondson of Jasonville, whom he married on Nov. 27, 1988; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Shawn McKee of Jasonville; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse and Amber Reel of Jasonville and Brent Reel of Jasonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diann and Ron Barber of Jasonville, Darlene and Clarence Holmes of Terre Haute, Rebecca and Alan Duchacek of Bloomfield, brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Kathy Edmondson of Jasonville; grandchildren, Harley McKee, Mackenzie McKee, Cecil McKee; four step-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant sister, Debra Sue Edmondson
A 'Gathering of Friends' will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM at the Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville in a celebration of the life of Robert William Edmondson.
