Carl Ray James "CJ" Crichfield, 19, of Hymera left this world on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.

He is sadly missed.

He was born in Evansville on April 23, 1990 to Kevin Wayne and Blanche Marie (Lorenzo) Crichfield.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin & Blanche Crichfield; sisters,Janey Marie Crichfield and Loren DeLeigh Crichfield; a brother, Kevin Nick Crichfield, all of Hymera; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Bobbie Crichfield of Dugger; grandmother, Darla Padgett; paternal aunts, Carmen Holeman, Thea Hollingsworth, and Tish Padgett; paternal uncles, Shane Padgett, Heath Padgett, and T.J. Padgett; maternal aunts and uncles, Henry T. Lorenzo of Jasonville, Brian K. and Loretta Doris Lorenzo Smith of Jasonville, Joseph Nick Lorenzo of Jasonville, and Harold Louis & Anita Lorenzo of Jasonville; paternal cousins Sheldan Garrett, Peyton Garrett, Reagon Holeman, Angie Thompson, Jordon Enochs, Stanley Enochs, Keyanna Enochs, Tomi Thompson, Chase Padgett, Gavin Padgett, Heather Padgett, Shayna Padgett, Riki Hollingsworth, Michael Hollingsworth, Braydon Scank, and Caleb Scank; and maternal cousins, Kenley Blackmore and Joseph Louis Lorenzo.

He was preceded by: his paternal grandfather, Charles B. Padgett; maternal grandparents, Joe and Virginia Lorenzo of Jasonville; and maternal uncle, Steven Anthony Lorenzo of Thoreau, NM.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville and Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, State Rd. 59S, Jasonville. Pastor Jerry Ross will officiate.

Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.

For the benefit of families who may have to endure the tragic loss of a child, a memorial fund has been established at First Financial Bank. In lieu of flowers, his family wishes for donations to be made to the Carl Ray James Crichfield Memorial Fund. Money will build in the account until such time as it is needed for another family suffering the loss of a child.
