Marianne (Humphreys) Barton, 65, of Jasonville, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
She was born Sept. 28, 1944 in Sullivan, the daughter of Willard Humphreys and Lula Grace (Parker) Humphreys
Marianne had recently worked at the Twist & Shake in Jasonville serving as manager, also she previously worked at Sea Cove, Crosscut, Klein's Kountry Kitchen, Sharon's Kountry Kitchen restaurants and General Electric in Linton from 1963-1976.
Surviving is her husband, Harold David "Dave" Barton of Jasonville, whom she married Feb. 5, 1972; sons and daughters-in-law: Mike and Lisa Turley of Poland, IN; Jeff and Sara Barton of Terre Haute; a daughter, Kim Sanders of Linton; sisters and brother-in-law, Marsha Easter of Louisville, KY, Emily and Bill Barnsfather of Louisville, KY; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Donna Humphreys of Estero, FL, Phil and Sandi Humphreys of Bastrop, TX ; grandchildren, Missy Driscol, Aaron Driscol, Alicia Turley, Mikey Turley, Jocelyn Barton, Kaelyn Barton, Brooklyn Barton, Chris Sanders, Casey James Clark; a great-granddaughter, Brianna Driscol; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold J. and Rosella Barton of Linton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents
Private services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 16.
