He was born Feb. 25, 1928 in Lyons, to Welker T. and Florence V. (Nichols) Sparks.
Bill was self-employed and was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended White River Christian Church in Noblesville, and was a member of Folsom United Methodist Church in Worthington.
He is survived by wife, Mary Ann Sparks of Noblesville; daughter, Teresa (Brian) Herrington of Noblesville; brother, Lowell (Jewell) Sparks of Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Louise Sparks of Switz City; granddaughter, Lora (Derek) Weed of Carmel; grandson, Joshua Herrington of Noblesville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leland N. and Rae Sparks and Louis W. and Mary Sparks; and brother, Glen M. Sparks.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at Folsom United Methodist Church in Worthington with Pastor Colin Cress officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
