She was born in Linton on Aug. 28, 1911, the daughter of Harry and Margaret Ann (Wills) Moss.
She was a 1929 Linton-Stockton High School graduate. She was a member of the Glenburn United Methodist Church of Linton, until its closing, and then a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church. She was a member of Linton Ladies Civitan Club.
She is survived by three sons, Jack C. (Peggy), Larry J. (Judy), and James R. (Linda) Conklin, all of Linton; a daughter, Karon Hasler of Lyons, a brother, Harry C. "Bud" Moss of Rocklin, Calf.; a sister, Margaret Ann Hackler of Charlottesville; seven grandchildren, Carla Howell, Scotty, Sean, Shannon, and Chad Conklin, Timi Smith, and Tracy Hasler; 18 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert K. Conklin on Jan. 12, 1982; a brother, Elmer C. Moss; four sisters, Audrey Hawtin, Cynthia Ambercrombie, Oletha and Esther Moss, and a son-in-law, Larry Hasler.
Visitation was at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral service was at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
