GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

JAIL LOG

* Nov. 27 -- Jacqueline S. Hardy, 32, Spencer, was arrested on a warrant for escape, a parole violation, and was being held without bond. Worthington Town Marshal Dennis Conaway was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 27 -- Mallory M. Frye, 21, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft, released on $4,000 bond on Nov. 28 and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4. Linton Reserve Officer Brock Garrison was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 28 -- Michael K. Arthur, 28, Worthington, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Worthington Reserve Officer Jason Wilson was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 28 -- John K. Quillen, 23, Lyons, was arrested on preliminary charges of theft and possession of marijuana and was being held on $5,000 bond. Linton Reserve Officer Brock Garrison was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 28 -- Shadow L. Kendall, 20, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct, released on $1,000 bond and Nov. 29 and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4. Indiana Conversation Officer Greg Swanson and Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Aaron Smith was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 28 -- Christina A. Vantlin, 38, Vincennes, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Homer Abrams was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 28 -- Lynden D. Boger, 18, Lyons, was arrested on a preliminary charge of aiding in theft, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4. Linton Police Reserve Officer Brock Garrison was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 29 -- Michael W. Herman, 23, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Reserve Deputy Richard Colvin was the arresting officer.

* Nov. 29 -- Ellen D. Phegley, 42, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, released on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included 12 follow-up investigations, 16 requests for information only, six fights, three bar fights, seven juvenile/delinquents, one incident of vandalism, one criminal mischief, one school/foot patrol, six utility repairs, one intimidation, 10 structure fires, three transport of documentation, six accidents with personal injury, seven accidents with property damage, 20 medical/illness, nine alarms, one animal complaint, five suspicious vehicle/persons, seven assists to other agencies, four harassment complaints, three reckless drivers, three extra patrols, 15 thefts-other, three welfare checks/concerns, three shoplifting, four ordinance violations and 79 traffic stops.

* Nov. 26 -- A "hit and run" accident was reported by a Washington man who had parked a vehicle in the lot at Mussleman's Apts. then returned to find it had been hit in the passenger side front fender. He said he spoke with seven neighbors but they did not hear anything. LPD Officer Deb McDonald was the investigating officer.

* Nov. 27 -- A drive-off theft was reported by the BP Gas Station on NE A St. that reportedly occurred at 3:44 a.m. when a vehicle parked on pump No. 8 pumped fuel then drove without paying. LPD Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.

* Nov. 27 -- A man reported a theft of prescription medication from a vehicle occurred during the time he was inside Taco Bell. LPD Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.

* Nov. 29 -- A resident on SE 8th St. reported the theft of a number of items from his home by a suspect who had been taking care of the resident in exchange for a place to stay. Some of the items may have been taken to a pawn shop. Prescription medication was also reported missing. LPD Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
