The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included on report of breaking and entering, one refusal to leave, one fraud, four follow-up investigations, one request for information only, one lifting assistance, six assists to the utility department after hours, five drug investigations, two school/foot patrols, one structure fire, one vehicle fire, one accident with property damage, one suicide or attempted suicide, two medical/illness, one alarm, one suspicious vehicle/person, two assists to other agencies, one reckless driver, one welfare check/concern, one 911 prank/false call, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one domestic dispute, two community relations, one open door/garage, one battery and 12 traffic stops.
* Dec. 4 -- Police are investigating an alleged incident of fraud reported by a woman who stated a man used her social security number and date of birth to open three AT&T accounts in November 2008 but did not pay and now a collection agency is trying to collect $934.22 from her. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.
* Dec. 6 -- Police investigated a report of criminal mischief/vandalism at a vacant apartment on NE G St. Sometime overnight on Dec. 5-6, the front door was kicked in but no other damage was noticed and nothing was taken. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
