Carey "Ed" Skinner 48, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4:40 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2009 at his residence.
Born February 23, 1961 in Noblesville, he was the son of Ronald Leroy and Ethel Louise (Crawford) Skinner.
He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Crider & Crider, Inc. in Bloomington. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and hunting.
Surviving relatives include: his wife Diane whom he married December 31, 2000; two sons, Jeremy Skinner (Heather) and Jon Skinner both of Bloomfield; stepson, Joshua Neighbors (Terri) of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Emily, Erin and Matthew; Brothers, Ronald, Gary and Max Skinner; and sisters, Ruth Ann and Bonnie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date at Walnut Grove cemetery. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
