The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included two follow-up investigations, one fraud, five requests for information only, one for lifting assistance, one assist to the utility department after hours, one school/foot patrol, one intimidation, one structure fire, one vehicle fire, six medical/illness, one alarm, one animal complaint, one VIN check, one suspicious vehicle/person, one reckless driver, two domestic disputes, one domestic/neighbor, one community relations, one ordinance violation and 15 traffic stops.
* Dec. 8 -- Information was forwarded to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office on possible criminal charges of theft/attempted theft involving shoplifting from WalMart. Police investigated a report by a store employee that a 33-year-old female and a 27-year-old male had stolen numerous items from the store around 6:25 p.m. LPD Officer Heath Murray is the investigating officer.
* Dec. 10 -- Police are investigating the report of a theft. The suspect previously lived with the complainant. LPD Officer Heath Murray is the investigating officer.
* Dec. 13 -- Police were dispatched to the Country Porch convenience store on the report of an incident involving criminal mischief. Two people got into a brief argument at the store and a man punched the passenger side corner panel of a woman's vehicle. The woman was advised to get a protective order. LPD Officer Wayman JR Blazier was the investigating officer.
