The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one follow-up investigation, four requests for information only, one school/foot patrol, one accident with property damage, one medical/illness, one animal complaint, one assist to another agency, three thefts-other, one welfare check/concern, one truancy and two traffic stops.
* Dec. 17 -- Police received a report that a witness had watched a suspect take a 14-karat gold chain off of a display case in a business. The chain was valued at $605. LPD Officer Heath Murray is the investigating officer.
* Dec. 17 -- Police are investigating a complaint of theft at the O'Reilly Auto Parts store involving an employee accused of stealing parts and money. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.
