The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one incident of breaking and entering, one fraud, one title check, two requests for information only, two accidents with property damage, three medical/illness, one animal complaint, one harassment complaint, one possibly intoxicated driver, two thefts-other, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one domestic dispute and two traffic stops.
* Dec. 22 -- Police responded to a business in Angell's Shopping Center that reported a man had tried to cash numerous checks on an account that had been closed. The suspect allegedly was continuing to try to use these checks. LPD Officer Tom Jerrels was the responding officer. The case was turned over to Det. Duane Collenbaugh for further investigation.
