Jim K. Loudermilk, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away at Bloomington Hospital on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009 at 5:31 P.M.
Born March 14, 1928 in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of Victor and Mildred (Markowitz) Loudermilk.
Jim was a retired Electrician and bartended at the Spot Lounge.
Surviving relatives include: his ex-wife, Peggy Loudermilk, of Plainfield; four children, Anthony Loudermilk of Colorado, Melinda Falin of Shelbyville, Ky., Laura Beams of Indianapolis and John Loudermilk of Richmond; 15 grandchildren, Adam, Josh, Amanda and Hanna Gibson, Matthew and Sarah Falin, Morgan Loudermilk, Ryan, Zachary, Kendal and Brody Beams, Michelle, Anthony James Jr., Jody and Jamie Loudermilk; six great grandchildren, Gavin, Gabby and Nevaeh Feming, Noah Crook, Maddox and Cynthia Elliot.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, two children Cynthia K. Gibson and Brian Loudermilk. One sister Nancy Dey.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Henry Mann Jr. officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
The family wishes all donations be made to the James K. Loudermilk funeral fund in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
