Karen Sue Dyer, age 54 of Jasonville, died at 4:01 A.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Linton on March 4, 1955, the daughter of Robert Sr. & Sarah E. (Criss) Denny. She had previously worked in several factories and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Glenburn Home in Linton and Friendship Manor in Southern Illinois. Karen loved her Indian heritage, the outdoors, and most of all, her grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband James Dyer of Jasonville, four children, Jane (Tim) Bruner of Greencastle, Kimberly (Justin) Hoskins of Danville, IL, Jason Ault, and Heather (Matt) Simon of Lafayette, two sisters, Bobby (Mike) Morrissey of Jacksonville, FL and Peggy (Richard "Red) Bedwell of Linton, a brother, Robert Don (Penny) Denny, Jr. of Hymera, and eighteen grandchildren, Jared, Dylan, Austin, Tyler, Cameren, Rylee, Justin, Carlee, London, Jason Jr., Sarah, Kristopher, Jordan, Chase, Madison, Aiden, Morgan, & Shawnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2009.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
