The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one follow-up investigation, one request for information only, one assist to the utility department after hours, one utility repair, one accident with personal injury, one accident with property damage, one mental case, three medical/illness, one harassment complaint, two reckless drivers, one extra patrol, one welfare check/concern, one arrest -- wanted on warrant and one community relations.
* Jan. 7 -- Police investigated a complaint of harassment involving a woman who reported a man has been making inappropriate comments to her. LPD Officer Deb McDonald was the investigating officer.
* Jan. 7 -- A weather-related, three-car accident in Linton on Thursday morning resulted in minor damages.
According to at Linton Police Department accident report, Crystal G. Smith, 33, of Linton, was south bound on 8th Street when she slid through a stop sign striking a 1987 mail vehicle which was east bound on Vincennes Street.
At that point, the mail vehicle, driven by Mary Ison, 52, of Bloomfield, spun around striking the rear bumper of a 2000 Ford Focus -- which was parked on E. Vincennes Street.
The parked vehicle, owned by Christopher Blanton of Linton, was unoccupied at the time of the accident.
Total damages are estimated to be from $2,501 to $5,000.
There were no injuries in the incident.
Linton Police Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.
