Robert Glenn Coleman, 57, of Bloomfield, passed away at 12:57 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010 at Greene County General Hospital.
Born May 25, 1952 in Bonnieville, Ky., he was the son of James D. and Margaret (Borel) Elliott.
He was a Electronic Technician for NSWC Crane. He was a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge 84 where he was past master, Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star where he was past matron and the Bloomfield Odd Fellows lodge.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Karen E. (Walls) Coleman whom he married March 12, 1976; two sons, David M. Fouts of Pendleton and Robert James Coleman of Chicago, Ill.; his mother, Margaret Coleman of Lyons; one brother, Joseph Coleman of Coos Bay, Oregon; and several half brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Elliott.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. ib Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Father Michael Madden officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, and one hour prior to service Monday at the funeral home. A wake service will be conducted 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Bloomfield Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star service will be Sunday evening at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
