Geneva Pearl (Hollingsworth) Kalos, age 80, of Caseyville, Ill., and formerly of Linton, passed away at 7:24 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons.

She was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Linton, the daughter of Arthur and Sarah (Killion) Hollingsworth.

She was a homemaker and a member of Glenburn United Methodist Church. She was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include: three sisters, Delena (Harry) Collins, Lois Corbin and Emmalou Marquart, all of Linton; a step-daughter, Thelma (Steve) Wilson of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter Kalos; and a twin brother, Bob Hollingsworth.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 5, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon Friday until the hour of the service.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
