LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included one incident of minor consumption, one title check, one follow-up investigation, two requests for information only, one for lifting assistance, three juvenile/delinquents, two assists to the utility department after hours, two sex offenses-other, two school/foot patrols, one public intoxication, two accidents with property damage, three medical/illness, three animal complaints, one prowler, two VIN checks, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one harassment complaint, one lost or stolen license plate, one disabled/stranded vehicle, one domestic dispute, one community relations, one ordinance violation and 24 traffic stops.
* March 12 -- Police investigated an incident of criminal mischief in the area of F St. and West End Ave. where three windows were broken out of a van that was parked in a yard. LPD Det. Josh Goodman was the investigating officer.
* March 14 -- Police responded to the scene of an accident involving two vehicles at 6:20 p.m. on NE 3rd St. and NE D St. where one driver backed west out of an alley and collided with another vehicle parked in the alley with no occupants inside. LPD Officer Tom Jerrels was the investigating officer.
GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
* March 13 -- Perry E. Shepard, 32, Linton, was arrested on a warrant issued in connection with a petition to revoke and a new preliminary charge of possession of marijuana. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Tom Jerrels was the arresting officer.
* March 14 -- Russell L. Alsman, 22, Linton, was arrested on a warrant issued in connection with a petition to revoke and was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Tom Jerrels was the arresting officer.
