Pearl A. Bingham, Worthington, passed away at 8:42 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2010, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

She was born Jan. 8, 1913, in Worthington, to Hugh and Martha (Porter) McDaniel.

She was a homemaker, and had worked at Showers Factory in Bloomfield, RCA in Bloomington and enjoyed best being her husbands "helper" in his carpentry business, mowing her big lawn on her rider, and having family dinners. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Wesleyan Church northeast of Bloomfield, she was pianist there for over 20 years, and also Sunday School Secretary.

She is survived by daughter, Norma (Walter) Steele, Worthington; three grandsons, Reginald Gregory, Linton, Mark (Pam) Gregory, Spencer, and Bradley (Sandi) Gregory, Plainfield; two step-daughters, Debbie (Rick) Lemons, Bloomfield, Denice (Pat) Gilliland, Bloomfield; and two great-grandchildren, Jessica Faith and Nathan Eric Gregory; three step-grandchildren, Jason Noel, Sarah Beth and Allen Lemons; one great-great-grandson, Devon Noel; she was the third of seven children, one sister, Mary Hilda Franklin, Camby; two brothers, Johnny Sherfield, Spencer; Donnie Sherfield, Georgetown, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, who she married Oct. 14, 1930, Lebert Bingham, in 1989; one brother, Lester McDaniel; two sisters, Grace Burch and Mildred Hamilton.

Funeral service, Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Worthington, 2:00 p.m.. Saturday, March 20, 2010, Rev. Paul Shears officiating.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett 5-8:00 p.m. Friday, and Noon Saturday until time of service.

Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
