Marvin L. Fish, 58, of Lyons and formerly of Worthington and Florida, passed away

2:34 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at his residence in Lyons.

Marvin was born Aug. 24, 1951, in Indianapolis to E. Lynn and Nellie Mae (Hubbard) Fish.

He was an owner-operator truck driver, a member of Worthington First Baptist Church, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Linda (Dickerson) Fish, Lyons; mother, Nellie (Hubbard) Hunter, Worthington; six children, Jim Sturgis, Worthington; Terry (Brittney) Fish, Lyons; Michael (Stephanie) Fish, Lyons; Tythan, Dalton and Michelle Fish all at home; three sisters, Judy (Newell) Clifton, Bedford, Jane (Chuck) Millspaugh, Worthington, Barbara Buskirk, Mitchell; one brother, Bill (Sharon) Sloan, Worthington; six grandchildren, Gracee and Jimmy Mac Sturgis, Trevor Sparks, Bobby Gorby, Whitley Abner, Summer Fish and Ayden Carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Christina Lynn Fish; two nephews; and two nieces.

Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010, with Bro. Vern Thompson officiating.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett 5-9 p.m. Saturday and after Noon Sunday.

Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery, with military graveside rites.
