Paul Edward Harlan, 69, Jasonville, died at 10:45 A.M. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
He was born Dec. 27, 1940 in Jasonville, the son of Clifford R. Harlan and Lovicia B. (Ferry) Harlan-Graber.
Paul worked at Crane, was a 13 year member of Sons of the American Legion Post #172 in Jasonville and a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary Post #6606 of Clay City for many years.
Survivors include: a Eddie Harlan of Terre Haute; sisters and brother-in-law: Carol and Fred Easter of Jasonville; two nephews, Donald R. and Shannon Harlan of Jasonville and Greg Klega of Clay City ; five nieces, Terry Strouse of California, Sherry Hydrick of Arizona, Cindy Moyer of Jasonville, Tamme Klega of Jasonville, Brooke and Danny Evol of Jasonville; many other family members; and special friends, Bill WIlson of Clay City, Joe Hawkins of Linton, Earlene Griffith of Mooresville, Jim Slater Clay City
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford R. Harlan; mother--Lovicia B. Harlan-Graber; step-father, Willard Graber; son, Terry Allen Harlan; two brothers, Robert W. Harlan and Donald R. Harlan Sr.
Visitaiton will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street in Jasonville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Messmer
Interment wil be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
