He was born Feb. 8, 1977 in Terre Haute, the son of Edward Dean McIntyre and Marilyn Sue (Yates) Lifford.
He worked in Maintenance at United Machine and Design in Brazil, IN. Eddie loved the outdoors where he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved camping.
Survivors include: his fiance', Kortnee Marie Richardson of Lewis; and mother, Marilyn Sue Lifford of Jasonville; father, Eddie McIntyre I of Jasonville; daughters: Elizabeth, Callie, Taylor and Kenzi; sons: Quinton and Dakota; sisters and brothers-in-law, Andrea Pierce and Brad Duncan of Jasonville, Bobbi and Billy Wiscaver of Freelandville; maternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Yates of Blackhawk; paternal grandmother, Amy McIntyre of Louisville, KY; and several aunts and Uncles; six nieces and nephews; one great-niece; and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bert McIntyre.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian St, Jasonville
Funeral services are 9 p.m. Tuesday following visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Phillip Bilyeu officiating. According to Eddie's wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help with funeral expenses, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
