* April 1 -- Stephen C. Wood, 35, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and was being held in lieu of $15,000 bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan VanHorn was the arresting officer.

* April 1 -- Paula K. Terrell, 40, Bloomfield, was arrested on a body attachment, released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on April 5. Greene County Sheriff's Special Deputy Marlene Newby was the arresting officer.

* April 1 -- Michael A. O'Banion, 24, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and was being held in lieu of $15,000 bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan VanHorn was the arresting officer.

* April 1 -- David I. Johnson, 30, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and was being held in lieu of $15,000 bond. Jasonville Police Officer Ryan VanHorn was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Thursday included one incident of minor consumption, one follow-up investigation, one drug investigation, one animal cruelty, two brush fires, one accident with property damage, one alarm, one assist to another agency, one burglary, one harassment complaint, one child abuse or neglect, two thefts-other, one bicycle theft, one bicycle recovered and one traffic stop.

* April 1 -- A resident of Bedford reported an incident of breaking and entering and theft after he discovered a lock had been drilled out on the door of his camper that was parked at Sunset Campgrounds. The missing items included a fish barometer and a nine-shot black .22-caliber handgun that was loaded. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.

* April 1 -- A theft of half of a gate was reported by Sunset Campground. The other half of the gate was found laying by a trail. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.

* April 1 -- No injuries were reported after a vehicle hit a concrete trash can in the parking lot of the Taco Bell restaurant on State Road 54E around 10:30 p.m. The police report states a 16-year-old Jasonville driver, Jesse L. Beller, was attempting to back out of the drive-through lane at the restaurant in a silver 2000 Ford Mustang when he struck a curb, left the roadway and hit the trash can. The total amount of property damage was estimated between $2500-5000. LPD Reserve Officer Mike Harroll was the investigating officer.

* April 2 -- A police report released on April 2 indicates information has been forwarded to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office for possible criminal charges against an unknown number of male juveniles under investigation for theft. LPD Debbie McDonald was dispatched to the South Side Express convenience store around 5 p.m. on Feb. 26 after an employee called police. The report states several male juveniles came into the store and while they were in the candy aisle, one took an item of candy and placed it in his back pocket. He also placed another item up a sleeve then they all left without paying. The report states all of their actions were caught on video surveillance. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.
