LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one request for information only, one incident of criminal mischief, three medical/illness, one alarm, two assists to other agencies, one welfare check/concern, one ordinance violation, one battery and one traffic stop.
* April 5 -- A woman reported a violation of a protective order after she received a phone call from the man she has a valid order against. LPD Det. Sgt. Keith McDonald is the investigating officer.
* April 5 -- A woman reported a theft of 120 prescription Vicodin pills from her residence and gave police the name of a male suspect from Dugger. LPD Det. Sgt. Keith McDonald is the investigating officer.
* April 6 -- A Switz City woman reported a lost or stolen license plate. The police report states when she arrived at the Linton Park around 6 p.m. after driving there from Switz City, she noticed her license plate had gone missing. LPD Officer Thomas Jerrels was the investigating officer.
* April 6 -- Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief involving an estimated $3,300 to a car parked on a street at 3:13 a.m. on April 3. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark is the investigating officer assisted by Det. Sgt. Keith McDonald.
