Letter to the Editor

To the Editor:

John 17:11 -- "I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name -- the name you gave me -- so that they may not be as one."

It is time that we bring down the walls that keep us from being a "United Body of Christ." Yes we have differences of interpretation; however, if we are true followers of the Gospel of Christ, we can work together in response to Jesus' call to reach out to all people. It is not about any one of us -- it is about God!

It is expedient that we become a family united with different gifts and graces. It is by Grace we are saved, to serve God, not any specific church. Let us come together.

"I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God,

I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His Blood!

Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,

For I'm a part of the family, the Family of God."
