JASONVILLE -- Lana Sue Hilderbrand, 68, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital.
She was born Dec. 27, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Warren "Bud" Thompson and Doris (Elicker) Thompson.
She married William "Tom" Hilderbrand on Nov. 28, 1980
Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Jay Criss of Jasonville; sons Kent Delph of New Mexico and William "Will" Hilderbrand II of Jasonville; step-son Ronald and Kathy Hilderbrand of Macon, Ga.; step-daughter Sheri and Tom Caldwell of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren Taylor and Emily Criss, Arjuna and Savitri Delph, Ronald and Valerie Hilderbrand, Doug Case, Kim Case, Sarah Caldwell; and several step-great-grandchildren and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Ronald Thompson and Terry Thompson.
Lana was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Civitan in Linton, and attended the Shakamak Community Church.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian St, Jasonville, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 3 at the funeral home with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating.
Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jasonville Friends of the Library. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
