The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included two follow-up investigations, one request for information only, one fight, two assists to the utility department after hours, one accident with property damage, one medical/illness, one extra patrol, one theft-other, one welfare check/concern, one domestic dispute, one community relations detail and 14 traffic stops.
* May 10 -- After pre-paying for $10 worth of gas at Casey's General Store on State Road 54W, the customer then entered the store requesting to get only $8 but the attendant explained they could not do that. The customer then returned to the vehicle but instead of pumping $10 worth of gas, they pumped $12 then drove-off without paying. The vehicle was a green Nissan. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
