Thomas Edward Holcomb, 61, of Sullivan and formerly of Linton passed away on Saturday, May 15 at his residence.
He was born in Linton, on Oct. 3, 1948 to Ralph and Cathern E. (Mathena) Holcomb. Tom married Cheryl K Byrer on October 29,1983.
Tom worked as an interior and exterior home maintenance contractor in and around the Linton area.
He was a member of the Howesville Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include: his wife, Cheryl K. (Byrer) Holcomb; three daughters, Angela Holcomb of Terre Haute, Christina (Dave) Murray of Moreland, IN and Misty (Kenny) Goodwin of Linton; three sons, Thomas E. Holcomb Jr. of Terre Haute, Timothy M. Holcomb (Melissa Wolfe) of Sullivan and Brandon R. Holcomb of Sullivan; one sister, Rae Ann (Darrell) McKinley of Jasonville; three brothers, Robert 'Gene' E. (Jeanne) Holcomb of Converse, TX, Stephen (Charlotte) Holcomb of Linton, John Holcomb (Kim Cox) of Linton; and nine grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kevin DeWayne Holcomb and one sister, Connie Hibbard.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at the Anchored in Faith Ministries Church north of Linton. Pastors Larry Goodman and Ronnie Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, May 19, from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
