The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one follow-up investigation, two requests for information only, one fight, one incident of vandalism, two medical/illness, one animal complaint, one VIN check, two suspicious vehicles/persons, one assist to another agency, one theft, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one domestic dispute and one traffic stop.
* May 13 -- A traffic stop on a 1994 Lincoln Town Car because a driver was not wearing their seatbelt resulted in the arrest of Lynsdey M. Sullivan, 22, on E. Vincennes and NE 7th Streets around 2:50 a.m. The driver was driver was driving while suspended with a prior conviction and was cited for false registration. A criminal charge of driving while suspended was filed against Sullivan in Greene Superior Court. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
* May 17 -- Police responded to the Linton WalMart store where an employee reported she watched a woman put DVDs in her purse around 3:30 p.m. Information for possible criminal charges has been forwarded to the Greene County Prosecutor's Office. LPD Det. Sgt. Keith McDonald is the investigating officer.
