The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one request for information, three medical/illness, one alarm, three animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one reckless driver, one theft-other, one arrest - wanted on warrant and one traffic stop.
* May 24 -- Anna Bedwell, 42, Linton, was taken into custody without incident at her residence on SE 6th St at approximately 8:30 p.m. Bedwell was wanted on a warrant issued in Sullivan County on a Writ of Attachment for $562.13. The investigating officer, LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes, was assisted by LPD Officer Thomas A. Jerrels. Bedwell was transported to Dugger where custody was transferred to Dugger Town Marshal Dave Heaton.
* May 24 -- A theft was reported by a resident on S. Main St. who said someone had stolen five green plastic chairs and five small white plastic tables sometime during nighttime hours. LPD Officer Thomas A. Jerrels was the investigating officer.
